Our traditional Carols by Candlelight is approaching!! 

We are very excited to be welcomed in the gorgeous St. Joseph's Church in Glasthule this year. 

You might know the lyrics but this year get yourself absorbed by the great arrangements of this year's MD, Davina Baker. 

Please join us on Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th or Friday 20th December at 8pm. We'll also have some mince pie and mulled wine to keep you warm and a raffle with wonderful prizes to be won each night :)

🪩 SEPTEMBER DANCE WORKSHOPS 🪩

We are so excited to announce our September Dance Workshops which are open to all! This an excellent opportunity to build skills, practice for any upcoming auditions and to have some fun! 

These classes will be led by the following : 

•9th Sep - Maya Gaul

•16th Sep - Lauren Dooley

•23rd Sep - Laura Lambert

•30th Sep - Becca Lennon 

Classes are €10 for one week or €35 for 4✨ Each class takes place in the Methodist Church Hall, Dun Laoghaire and runs from 7.30pm - 9pm.

With a fresh perspective, yet honouring the original material, this year, the DMDS bring Chess to the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire from 16th to 20th April. 

Chess is a riveting musical, telling the story of two grandmasters, going head-to-head for Championshio glory. Beneath the surface is a melting pot of Cold War drama that unravels political hostility, danger, personal conflicts, relatioship gambits and much more. 

This powerful score by ABBA´s Benny and Bjorn, with the lyrics of Tim Rice, is one not to be missed!

Come along to Dún Laoghaire Musical and Dramatic Society's Live Band Karaoke night for a Prosecco and Piano reception followed by dinner, topped off with Karaoke with a live band into the night!

This event follows the success of our 2022 Piano Bar and we've upped the ante to bring you an amazing night out that you won't forget!!

Our 60th Celebration, 'DMDS Fest', was a massive success thanks to the incredible hard work of our organising team, our performers, our members, local businesses who supported us, and our friends and family who turned out in their masses to celebrate with us.

We raised over 3k for the society which was a brilliant achievement on top of the fun and joy we all felt on the night.
